Groups
Congratulations!
You finally got a date agreed on for a group photo!
So... What's next? Clothing. Pick a color theme and try not to go with busy designs that will distract you. White button ups and bluejeans are so last year, but are still very classic. Those kinds of themes work well with any wall color, any frame. But! you may want something more up to date.
I always set aside TWO hours for groups. "Oh we wont need that much time"
Yes. We will!
Getting the first large group photo can take ten minutes to organize, discuss and pose. If you disagree, we can try it out when we book. I'll let you pose everyone :) I've worked with large groups for more than 10 years. I LOVE posing them and I love talking and meeting everyone from all sides of the family. I always suggest bringing a few travel chairs for anyone that needs to sit down in-between photos. Sometimes it can be a process, and I know some people can't stand for long periods of time.
Here's a throw back of me posing a group in 2010 during a wedding <3
